Today’s post = All about the bedding! woo! Excitment abounds! (I have to say, atleast with this blog I have something new to blog about every day… which makes me feel better- I hate feeling bad about never knowing what to blog about)
We got this puppy at Linens N Things. It was $99 and we had a 20% off coupon. For all the stuff it comes with, seems like a pretty good price (plus, I love the design). I’m glad we found this, because buying the sticking bedding was driving me crazy. I had no idea what I wanted or what to get. But when my mom suggested this one, I loved it and it all worked out. Plus, it comes with a bunch of extra stuff:
So, along with the polka dots of wickedness, I got:
-2 ‘decorative pillows’
-2 Green towels
-A throw blanket
-and a Rug!
I really like the lime green-ness of the towels (Lime green is such an awesome color!). And the blanket is nice and soft and fuzzy. The rug is okay… the design is fine, it just seems like the make is weird – I see all these white spots where the fuzzy rug material is bent or exposed. Maybe that won’t be as noticible after it’s in use. The rug could be a little bigger (it’s about the size of a bathrooom rug that goes infrom of the bathtub or something). The pillows are… well, pillows. Not much excitement going on there. One thing I really like about this set is all the different colors. Love the lime green (have I made that obvious yet?) and I hate to admit that I actually really do like the color pink. Not soft pinks- the hard/hot pinks. All the different colors make it easy to get stuff to ‘match’ it (if you can call it that lol), and I am a big fan of the chocolate brown + other colors = awesome (brown and pink, brown and blue, brown and green.. I love those combinations). I havn’t actually even looked to see if the reversible side of the comforter is pink or green. Erm, duh on me… Either way, I really do like it. I have to say, the whole thing comes in a very nice bag thing. It’s got a handle at the top, it’s very easy to carry around. Very nice touch.
To go along with the bedding theme, here’s the other bedding stuff I got.
This stuff isn’t really as exciting. Just the required mattress pad, pink sheets (and a pillowcase! woo!) and totally irrelevant to this post laundry bad and water container. (Everything in this picture is from Target except the Laundry bag, I got that at Bed, Bath & Beyond)
